Child Development

Intent:

 

To provide students with a comprehensive understanding of child development from conception to 5 years old. The course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to support the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of children, preparing them for further education and careers in childcare, education, and related fields.

Theoretical Knowledge: Deliver structured lessons covering key topics such as prenatal development, early childhood education, and adolescent psychology. Use a variety of teaching methods, including teacher led learning, discussions, and multimedia resources.
